On what should have been one of the the sunniest days of the year (mid summer), I had about a 30 second window of opportunity to capture the moment, when there was a sudden break in the clouds. Special thanks to Edge Live for being the lead creative agency, and Rok Creative for the design.
F5.6, Iso 100, 1/500 shutter and 28mm focal length.
Shot in 2 days, with a Canon XH-A1 camera and a Panasonic AG-HVX200. It was edited with FCP on a Mac G5 quad, all the footage was converted to DVC Pro HD format and colour corrected with Magic Bullet Looks. Joint direction with Jay Langdell.
Shot in one day on one of the largest housing estates in Madrid, in Moratalaz, with another day indoors with a green screen. Shot with a Sony HVR-V1 and edited with Final Cut Pro 4 on a sawtooth Macintosh G4 400mhz. Looking back I suppose this was a prototypical grime video.
